TERMS AND CONDITIONS affect all new clients who visit Alexa Beck Photography for photographic services and every order placed with immediate effect. Clients placing an order are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
CLIENT CONFIDENTIALITY The photographer will keep confidential and will not disclose to any third parties or make use of material or information communicated to him/her in confidence for the purposes of the photography, save as may be reasonably necessary to enable the Photographer to carry out his/her obligations in relation to the commission.
COPYRIGHT The entire copyright in the Photographs is retained by the Photographer at all times throughout the world unless stated otherwise.
A CLIENT CHOOSING THE OPTION TO PURCHASE A CD WITH JPG FILES TO USE AND REPRINT AT THEIR OWN ACCORD. All files will be made in a resolution suitable for printing up to the predetermined size. If a client wishes to reprint photographs of a larger format, it must be clearly communicated and the price adjusted accordingly, depending on the current price, portrait and quantity.
PREVIEWING: Proof images of your session or event will be available within 10 days after the party.
ORDERING: Images will be accessible for viewing on a private designated website for a period of 15 days or available on a proof CD as an alternative. Late orders and reorders are subject to an administrative fee. Prices are subject to change without notification and all sales are final.
STYLE: The procedures used by Alexa Beck Photography are at our discretion and Alexa Beck Photography is not responsible to make clients aware of our photographic style and techniques we choose to use. Colour photography is undertaken within the technical limitations of the process and certain colours may not necessarily be facsimile of the whole range of colours within a subject. The photographer shall be entitled to use his own judgment; there is no right to reject the Photographs on the basis of style, quantity, subject matter or composition nor to reject the Photographs on the basis of any alleged discrepancy of the photographic images.
Alexa Beck Photography can only provide the images required with the cooperation of all parties concerned therefore no requests can be guaranteed.
CANCELLATION & POSTPONEMENT A booking is considered firm as from the date of confirmation and accordingly the Photographer will, at his/her discretion charge a fee for cancellation or postponement.
The photographer shall not be liable to the client/s for any failure, in whole or in part, to fulfil his obligations in any order where failure arises as a result of an event or circumstances beyond his/her control, which may include (but not limited to) equipment failure, inclement weather, illness, injury or acts of god.
Although the photographer shall exercise all reasonable care, skill and diligence in the discharge of their duty, it is understood that in the event of any unforeseen circumstances causing loss of all photographic records every effort will be made to retake the photographs.
Alexa Beck Photography is not liable for any accidents, loss or damage incurred within Alexa Beck Photography premises or on location.
The client is liable for any loss or damage that Alexa Beck Photography suffers as a result of the client/s actions.
Individual prices are valid for a period of 30 days from the sitting date. We guarantee the quoted price only in case of completion of all the financial Alexa Beck Photography-client transactions. Our prices depend directly on certain suppliers, framers, Printers, Photo Book printing Houses, Acrylic and Canvas printers,. Therefore it is imperative that we inform our clients on any possible price changes. In the interest of saving you money and delivering your order as soon as it's possible, we try our best to print the orders as soon as possible. This insures the validity of the prices originally quoted to a customer.
Unless specifically agreed in writing between Alexa Beck Photography and the client, the photographer is entitled to utilize material ordered by the client for advertising, marketing and promotion of the photography business.
Once orders have been initiated The orders placed by the client/s is bound and payable in full and upon commencement of the order as agreed by both the photographer and the client and may not be cancelled.
All prints sent out first class post are at the clients risk and Alexa Beck Photography accepts no responsibility for loss or damage.
APPLICABLE LAW This agreement shall be governed by the laws of England & Wales
VARIATION These Terms and Conditions shall not be varied except by agreement in writing.
